Nigeria made you – Joe Igbokwe blasts Davido for saying economy is in shambles

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has berated singer Davido for warning Americans against relocating to Nigeria.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Davido had, on an American podcast, warned US citizens against contemplating relocation to Africa, especially Nigeria, saying the country’s economy is in “shambles.”

Reacting, Igbo demanded a retraction from Davido, saying that the country made him who he is.

On his Facebook page, he wrote, “My in-law Davido has made me sad by telling the world in America that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement ASAP. Nigeria made Davido. QED!!!”
