NNL: Referee chief Irabor charges officials on best practices

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Referees and Development Committee has charged the officials officiating the 2024-25 Nigeria National League, NNL opener to exhibit best practices and set high standards.

The committee chief, Faith Irabor, gave the charge in a chat with the NNL media in Abuja.

The new NNL season will commence with a clash between Abakaliki FC and Madiba FC at the Pa-Ngele Oruta Township Stadium on Saturday, November 30.

The match will be officiated by Osas Alohan, from Edo State, who will be assisted by Festus German (First Assistant) from Delta State, Favour Bogwu (Second Assistant) from Delta State – Sebastine Onwe (Fourth Official) – Ebonyi State

Irabor expressed confidence in the officials selected for the encounter.

“We are proud of these referees, and we do not expect anything less, ” She told NNL media.

“They know the implications of poor performance.”
