Friendly: France coach, Bonadie expects difficult battle against Super Falcons

Les Bleues of France head coach, Laurent Bonadie has talked up the quality of the Super Falcons team ahead of their friendly meeting at the Stade Raymond Kopa, Angers on Saturday (today).

Les Bleues have never lost to the West Africans and will enjoy the advantage of playing in front of their fans.

The Super Falcons have fared well against some of the top sides in the world in recent times.

Bonadie recognised the strength of the nine-time African champions and is looking forward to a difficult test.

“Nigeria was at the Olympics where they finished last in Group C. Spain could only beat them 1-0,” Bonadie told L’équipe.
“Also at the World Cup, England defeated them 4-2 on penalties.
“It’s a solid team, with powerful and fast players. It’s a tough team to stop.
“You will have to attack them while being vigilant about the transitions.
“We must take advantage of their imbalances, too, in counter-pressing.”
