A 25-year-old woman, Firdausi Muhammad, who gave birth to twins last year, has again given birth to triplets in Jigawa State.

The woman delivered the babies through the Cesarean section at Dutse General Hospital on Saturday at about 12:30 pm.

The triplets, a boy and two girls, are reported to be in good health, receiving care from the medical team at the hospital.

Firdausi earlier gave birth to twins, a boy and baby girl months ago.

However, Media Talk Africa learnt that the joyous is also that of a challenge for the family of Dayyabu Muhammad, a junior police officer serving at the Jigawa State police command.

Dayyabu’s wife called on the Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, his wife and compassionate individuals to support them in caring for their children.

“I am appealing to the Jigawa State Governor, his wife and other individuals to help us properly take care of them,” Firdausi pleaded.

Her husband, Dayyabu, expressed his excitement and gratitude but also urged for prayers and support for the family.
