EPL: Arteta advises Amorim ahead Arsenal vs Man United

Ahead of their Premier League clash this evening, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has advised his Manchester United counterpart Ruben Amorim about dealing with the uncertainties of football management.

Amorim left Sporting CP for Manchester United last month after the club decided to part ways with Erik ten Hag.

Arteta, meanwhile, left his role as Manchester City’s assistant coach to take up the managerial role at the Emirates Stadium in December 2019 and has improved the team with leaps and bounds.

On two occasions, the north Londoners have narrowly missed out on lifting the Premier League title and are in the title race once again this year.

Speaking recently, as cited by GOAL, the Spaniard reflected on his experiences as Arsenal manager.

“How unpredictable this job is. I jumped into a new job in the middle of the season in very special circumstances socially,” he said.

“Then we got hit by COVID. You can plan whatever you want but football brings different things and you have to deal with it. Take it as it comes and deal with it,” said Arteta.
