EPL: I’m so sorry if I offended you – Guardiola apologizes to Mourinho

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has apologized to Jose Mourinho over his recent comments on the Fenerbahce manager.

Guardiola had made reference to his superior ‘six Premier League titles’ record won compared to the three English top-flight league titles Mourinho won during his time at Chelsea.

After Guardiola’s comments, Mourinho admitted that the Premier League titles he won did not involve cases in reference to Man City facing 115 charges for alleged financial fair play breaches.

However, Guardiola has now left a response to Mourinho in relation to the ‘discussion’ about the Premier League titles won.

Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday, Guardiola said via BeanymanSports:

“I would say to José Mourinho that we are innocent until proven guilty.

“If I ever offend him, I am so sorry but it was a joke.

“The fact is… Mourinho has three Premier League titles, I have six! This is a fact.”
