CHAN 2024: CAF president to visit host nations Thursday, Friday

President of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, Patrice Motsepe, will visit Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda—the three nations that will host the 2024 African Nations Championship this week.

Motsepe will start with a visit to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Thursday.

The CAF president will then move to Kampala, Uganda, and Nairobi, Kenya, on Friday.

During his visit, Motsepe will meet with governments, football leadership, and local organising committees from the three countries.

The schedule of activities and meetings includes visits to the stadiums and training sites that are currently undergoing renovations ahead of next year’s competition.

Media Talk Africa recalls that the CAF inspection team visited the three countries last month.
