NPFL: Boboye set to take charge at Akwa United

Kennedy Boboye is set to be named the new technical adviser of Akwa United.

According to reports, Boboye has opened talks with the Promise Keepers to take charge of the club.

The former manager of the side, Mohammed Babaganaru, quit the post following the club’s poor start to the season.

Boboye previously managed Sunshine Stars and Heartland in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The young tactician will be tasked with the responsibility of stabilising the club.

Akwa United are at the bottom of the NPFL table with 16 points from 17 games.
