I became depressed, almost broke up with Kassia after losing money to gambling – Kellyray

Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae has recalled the traumatic experience he had after losing all his money to gambling.

In a candid chat with Chude Jideonwo, the reality star disclosed that the incident happened shortly before they went on the reality show.

Kellyrae shared that he became depressed and even considered breaking up with Kassia due to the guilt of not being able to provide adequately for her.

He said she stood by him during those difficult times.

Kellyrae said, “I had some money but because I wanted more, the money was not enough; I started gambling with it and then lost it all. I was depressed. Every night, I was awake, thinking. Then she [Kassia] was the one who came to my rescue.

“I was thinking one day; I called her and said, let’s just break up. I feel I don’t have what it takes to really care for you because I feel guilty most of the time that there are things I’m supposed to be doing.”
