NPFL: Rangers coach, Ilechukwu demands consistency from players

Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu says his team will keep pushing hard to have a successful end to the season.

The defending champions have been inconsistent this season and have little chance of winning the title again.

The Flying Eagles defeated Ikorodu City 2-0 in their last fixture in Enugu.

Rangers will be up against Bayelsa United in a matchday 23 fixture at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa on Sunday (today).

Ilechukwu said it is important for his team to build on the victory over Ikorodu City.

“No doubt, we are going to build on the win we achieved against Ikorodu City at home and push for a positive finish to our campaign this season,” he was quoted by NFPL official website.

“Sure, we are not under any pressure again and the boys understand what is at stake as defending champions and I believe in their abilities to deliver the goods hence forth.”
