Blaqbonez reacts to Reps’ order of porn sites shutdown

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has reacted to the House of Representatives’ directive for a total shutdown of pornographic websites nationwide.

Media Talk Africa reported that on Tuesday, the House of Representatives instructed the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, the telecoms regulator, to block access to all pornographic websites in the country.

Reacting via X, Blaqbonez suggested that the ban was a sign of misplaced priorities.

Using popular adult star Destiny Mira as an example, the rapper argued that adult films “help” citizens through difficult times.

“This country is funny. Destiny Mira, who helps us through tough times, and they want to ban her,” he wrote.
