Fuji supremacy: Pasuma, Taye Currency settle fight in Mecca [VIDEO]

Legendary fuji musician, Pasuma has finally settled a dispute with his former protégé, Taye Currency.

The reconciliation reportedly took place in Mecca at the ongoing Umrah 2025.

The two Fuji stars were seen in a now-viral video on the internet, sitting closely and engaging in a discussion.

In the year 2024, what was once a mentor-protégé relationship devolved into rift with the duo throwing subtle and overt jabs at each other on social media.

Media Talk Africa recalls that it all started when Taye Currency, in October 2024, disapproved of fans referring to Pasuma as his industry ‘father’, emphasizing that Pasuma is more like an elder brother and can’t father him.

The Ibadan-based singer’s statements ignited a flurry of discussions online, with Pasuma’s fans criticising him.

Following the backslash, Taye Currency in a viral video, expressed regret for any offence caused by his statement, and apologised to Pasuma.
