Why I have never been in relationship – Rapper Jeriq

Nigerian rapper, Jeremiah Chukwuebuka Ani, popularly known as Jeriq, has explained why he has never been in a relationship at 25.

The ‘Secure The Bag’ hitmaker said he has never been in a relationship because he doesn’t believe that a lady can genuinely love and be faithful to him.

He said if he finds someone who is loyal, he will give love a chance but doubts the possibility of such a perfect relationship.

The rapper emphasised that he doesn’t believe in love but added that his stance might change in the future.

Speaking in an interview with Glich Africa, Jeriq said, “Since I was born, I have never been in a relationship.

“You know there’s love and love. For instance, I love my brothers, my family and friends. But the concept of a relationship between a man and a woman, I don’t think it is real. I don’t believe in it.

“I don’t believe that a girl can love and be loyal to only me. I don’t believe that it is possible. If I can see someone who will be loyal and honest with me, I will love her and reciprocate.

“But I know it’s not possible. So, I don’t believe in love. I’m still a small boy sha so let’s watch.”
