In the North-central region, sunny skies with patches of clouds are forecasted, with a chance of isolated thunderstorms in areas such as Plateau, the Federal Capital Territory, Kwara, Benue, Nasarawa, and Kogi. The southern region is likely to experience morning thunderstorms over parts of Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom, with thunderstorms expected to spread to other areas, including Imo, Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Enugu, Anambra, Edo, Rivers, Cross River, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Delta later in the day.

The southern region will see morning thunderstorms over parts of Bayelsa, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom, with thunderstorms expected to spread to other areas, including Ebonyi, Imo, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Osun, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, and Lagos.
NiMet has urged the public to take necessary precautions, as strong winds may precede the rains in areas where thunderstorms are likely to occur.
