Lagos Restaurant Sues Woman Over Ritual Killing and Kidnapping Allegations on Social Media

Lagos restaurant sues woman over ritual, kidnapping allegations

A disturbing controversy has erupted in Lagos, Nigeria, after a woman took to social media to accuse a popular restaurant, Thirty8, of being involved in ritual killings and kidnappings. The woman, who goes by the handle @General_Somto, shared a series of unsettling posts and video clips detailing her alleged terrifying experience near the female restroom of the restaurant’s Murtala Mohammed International Airport Road branch.

According to her account, she was confined within the premises before managing to secure her freedom. In an emotional plea, she urged people to investigate the restaurant, claiming that many had died there. “I’m not lying,” she declared. “Inside the restaurant, the first door after the female restroom. Go and check it. Many people have died. I’m not trying to ruin anyone’s business.” She also claimed to have discovered disturbing items, including “white clothes” and “charms” behind a door adjacent to the female restroom, which she said prompted her to exclaim, “Blood of Jesus!”

The restaurant’s management has vehemently denied these allegations, describing them as “baseless and malicious” and attributing them to business rivals. In an official statement, the management emphasized that the restaurant operates with the highest standards of safety, integrity, and respect for human rights and dignity. “It is clear that competitors who have not been able to upstage us business-wise have resorted to this devilish strategy,” the statement read.

The management has notified security agencies and expressed confidence that those responsible for the defamatory content will face justice. The statement also took the opportunity to thank loyal customers for their continued trust and support, while welcoming new customers to experience the restaurant’s offerings. As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen how the allegations will be investigated and what consequences those responsible may face. One thing is clear, however: the reputation of Thirty8 restaurant hangs in the balance, and the truth behind these alarming claims must be uncovered.
