Gospel artiste, Big Bolaji finally laid to rest in Ibadan

Gospel singer, Bolaji Olanrewaju, popularly known as Big Bolaji, has been buried at All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Big Bolaji died on April 19 at the age of 50 following a brief illness.

The burial ceremony started on Wednesday, bringing together family, friends and popular gospel celebrities to pay tribute to the late singer.

The final rites began at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre, with a lying-in-state and memorial service.

Prominent gospel artists, including Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, and Yetunde Are, joined popular comedian Woli Agba and other well-wishers to pay their last respects.

After the service, a funeral procession bagan all the way to All Souls Private Cemetery.

Big Bolaji’s wife, siblings, and loved ones all gathered at the gravesite paying their last respects to the artiste.
