Learn skills, have side jobs – Rapper Illbliss tells up-and-coming artists

Veteran Nigerian rapper Illbliss has urged aspiring musicians not to depend solely on their talents.

He advised them to learn a skill and have a side job to help them in times of financial difficulties.
He gave the advice while reacting to a viral clip from a recent interview of music executive Ayo Animashaun.

In the clip, Animashaun explained that despite reports that Nigerian artists are making huge fortunes from music, only a few them are in that category.

“A lot of artists are not making money. You say artists are making money — you can’t count ten,” he said.

Reacting via X, Illbliss wrote, “Dear Upcoming….
