I’ve never been on stage without taking alcohol - Singer Victony reveals

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, has stated that his challenges stole his youth.

Media Talk Africa recalls that Victony narrowly escaped death in 2021 after he was involved in a car accident that left one dead and three injured. The injury kept him in a wheelchair for about a year.

The singer gained prominence following the release of his hit song Holy Father with Mayorkun after surviving the car accident.

Reflecting on the experience, Victony wrote on X, “My troubles stole my youth.”

In another post, Victony disclosed that he has been sober for the past three months.

“3 months sober, Glory. ,” he wrote.

Victony recently revealed that he has never been on stage without taking alcohol but is working to change that during his Stubborn tour to give him a real experience with his fans.
