I compromised my values for Peller, but I’m losing value – Jarvis

Nigerian content creator and TikTok streamer Jarvis expresses frustration in her relationship with her partner, Peller, as she hints at being fed up with the dynamics.

In a live TikTok session with fellow streamer Sandra Benede, Jarvis revealed that she had to compromise her values and boundaries to accommodate Peller, often doing things she dislikes to please him.

She lamented that despite her efforts, she’s the one who seems to be losing value in the eyes of the public, while Peller faces no such consequences.

The streamer also mentioned that people feel she’s competing with Peller, suggesting that she’s not supposed to engage in similar activities as him.

She said, “In the beginning, it was difficult accepting his character. Now I have tolerated so many things that do not suit my brand, things I don’t like doing, things I haven’t done, but I have done it with him online. Even before we post something online, I complain that I don’t like it. Let’s find something else, but he will beg me and I will do it out of love. And when he posts it, dragging everywhere.

“Who is losing value? Is it me or him? Na woman go dey lose value now, man dey lose value? He can go to his village tomorrow and marry one of his Ikorodu sisters, life moves on. But the lady is the one that will be disgraced. They even said I’m doing competition. Like, they feel I am not supposed to do what he does.”
