Renowned Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy has secured an impressive spot on Billboard’s newly released list of the Top 50 ‘Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time’. The list features six productions from Don Jazzy, including collaborations with his former artists D’banj, Wande Coal, and Tiwa Savage.

The highly acclaimed producer expressed his satisfaction with the recognition via his X handle, writing “Inside the 50 I sha produced 6. I try Abi I no try.” This rough translation from Nigerian Pidgin English means “Among the 50, I have produced 6. I made an effort, didn’t I?”

Notably, Don Jazzy’s featured productions include Wande Coal’s ‘Bumper 2 Bumper’ and ‘Kiss Your Hand’, D’banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’ and ‘Fall In Love’, as well as his collaborations with Tiwa Savage, ‘Eminado’ and ‘Dorobucci’. Each of these artists has two entries on the prestigious list, further solidifying Don Jazzy’s reputation as a highly influential and successful producer in the Afrobeats genre.
