MAAUN Group, Canadian institution sign MoU on online English Language training, student exchange, others — Daily Nigerian

The MAAUN Group of Universities has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, Canada. The agreement focuses on online English language training, student exchange, and other areas of mutual benefit. It was signed by Prof. Adamu Abubakar‑Gwarzo, Founder and President of the MAAUN Group, and David Agnew, representing Seneca College.

The MAAUN Group comprises four institutions: Canadian University of Nigeria (Abuja), Franco‑British International University (Kaduna), Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (Maradi), and Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (Kano). This partnership is part of Prof. Abubakar‑Gwarzo’s broader effort to link the group with leading universities worldwide, thereby promoting innovation and research.

Under the MoU, both institutions will share expertise, information, and support to achieve shared objectives. Cooperation will include online English language training for MAAUN students, opportunities for those students to continue their education at Seneca, and educational consulting for MAAUN staff. The parties will also develop collaborative programs, support student recruitment, and explore additional areas of cooperation, all aimed at fostering research, innovation, and academic excellence.

In his remarks, Prof. Abubakar‑Gwarzo expressed a strong commitment to the effective implementation of the MoU and praised the cooperation between Seneca and the MAAUN Group. He is optimistic that the partnership will lay a solid foundation for sustained collaboration between the two institutions.

The MAAUN Group is dedicated to fully implementing the MoU to achieve its objectives.
