Coalition: ADC presents membership cards to David Mark, Aregbesola

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it is unaware of any court proceedings related to the ongoing leadership dispute. Party National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi told Channels Television’s *Politics Today* on Wednesday that the ADC has completed the administrative process of changing its leadership and that no legal action has been taken against it. He noted that, although some individuals have held press conferences and made claims or threats, they have been unable to follow through.

On the same day, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recognized the ADC’s new leadership, appointing former Senate President David Mark as National Chairman and former Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary. This recognition comes as the party works to resolve internal disputes that have attracted considerable attention, with various factions staking competing claims to the party’s helm.

The INEC endorsement provides clarity on the ADC’s hierarchy and structure, signaling a step toward a unified direction. As the party continues to navigate its internal challenges, establishing stable and effective leadership will be crucial for its future political activities and overall success.
