Israel hopes to announce hostage release in Gaza soon

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed hope that hostages held in Gaza will be released “in the coming days.” This development comes after Hamas agreed to free the captives and engage in negotiations as part of a US peace plan.
