Ex-Minister Muazu Jaji Sambo Stays Loyal to APC

A former Nigerian Minister of Transport, Muazu Jaji Sambo, has reaffirmed his commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that he has no intention of defecting to another party. This declaration was made through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Dr. Sam Idiagbonya.

Sambo, who served as a minister under the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, remains a staunch supporter of the APC. His media aide emphasized that Sambo believes in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and is confident that Nigerians will soon begin to reap its benefits. Having played a key role as the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) campaign coordinator, which contributed to the current government’s rise to power, Sambo’s loyalty to the APC is unwavering.

According to Dr. Idiagbonya, Sambo is a dedicated loyalist and a firm believer in the Nigerian project. He remains an active member of the APC, committed to the party’s vision for the country’s development. Sambo’s home state of Taraba is expected to contribute significantly to the Renewed Hope administration’s goal of achieving a one trillion dollar economy, particularly through the development of the agricultural sector.

Sambo has urged residents of Taraba to remain resilient and work collaboratively with the government to create a better future for the state. By doing so, he hopes to foster a sense of unity and cooperation, which will ultimately drive progress and growth in the region. As a key figure in Nigerian politics, Sambo’s commitment to the APC and the country’s development is seen as a significant factor in shaping the nation’s future. With his continued support for the Renewed Hope Agenda, Sambo is poised to play an important role in the administration’s efforts to drive economic growth and improve the lives of Nigerians.
