Davido Announces Nigerian Dates for His ‘5ive’ Tour — “This One’s for the Culture”

Afrobeats icon Davido just dropped major news — he’s bringing his ‘5ive’ Tour home to Nigeria! The superstar revealed via X (formerly Twitter) that he’ll be performing across five states between October and December 2025, marking his first multi-city Nigerian tour in years.

According to the post, the 5ive Tour Nigeria kicks off in Akwa Ibom on October 26, then moves to Adamawa on October 29, Enugu on November 1, Ibadan on November 9, and wraps up with a massive finale in Lagos on December 25 — yep, Christmas Day with OBO.

Sharing his excitement, Davido wrote:

“I am blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go, Nigeria goes with me. But this time, I’m bringing it home. After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right we bring that energy back where it all began.”

New Project 6

He described the Nigerian leg as “for the culture” and “personal,” adding,

“5ive Tour Nigeria, y’all ready? This one’s for the culture. This one’s personal. This one is for us.”

This announcement hits different — it’s Davido’s biggest local concert series since his sold-out Timeless Concert at Tafawa Balewa Square in April 2023 and his Abuja stadium show later that year.

Fans are already going wild on social media, flooding timelines with excitement and memories of his electric stage moments. With the energy Davido brought to North America, it’s safe to say Nigeria is about to experience pure chaos (the good kind).

As anticipation builds, the “Unavailable” hitmaker is making one thing clear — this tour isn’t just music, it’s a homecoming. It’s for the culture. It’s for us.
