Prada revenue rises 9% driven by Miu Miu sales

Italian fashion group Prada has reported a significant year-on-year increase in net revenues for the first nine months of 2025, driven by strong sales of its Miu Miu line. Net revenues reached €4.1 billion between January and September, a 9% increase at constant exchange rates compared to the same period in 2024.

The Miu Miu brand experienced a substantial 41% year-on-year sales increase, while the flagship Prada brand, which accounts for two-thirds of the company’s revenue, saw a 2% decline in sales. Despite the challenging market environment, Prada Group CEO Andrea Guerra expressed confidence in the company’s trajectory, citing a focus on products and experiences that spark emotional engagement, as well as efforts to improve speed and flexibility.

In April, Prada announced its acquisition of rival fashion brand Versace for €1.25 billion. This move is expected to further consolidate Prada’s position in the luxury fashion market. The company’s strong performance in the first nine months of 2025 is a testament to the success of its strategy, which emphasizes high-quality products and innovative designs.

The growth of the Miu Miu brand is particularly noteworthy, as it has become a key driver of Prada’s revenue. The brand’s popularity among younger consumers has contributed to its success, with its unique and stylish designs resonating with this demographic. As the luxury fashion market continues to evolve, Prada’s ability to adapt and innovate will be crucial to its long-term success.

Prada’s financial performance is a significant indicator of the overall health of the luxury fashion industry. The company’s success demonstrates the ongoing demand for high-quality, stylish products, despite economic uncertainty. As the company looks to the future, its focus on emotional engagement, speed, and flexibility will be essential in maintaining its competitive edge. With its strong brand portfolio and commitment to innovation, Prada is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory in the years to come.
