Christmas: Embrace love, peace, compassion - Cleric urges Nigerians

Reverend Aminuson Anderson Ayuka, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in Kaduna State’s Chikun Local Government Area, has sent Christmas greetings to Nigerians, urging them to embrace love, peace and compassion as exemplified by Jesus Christ. In his message, he reflected on the season’s significance, highlighting God’s unwavering love, grace and the hope offered to humanity through the birth of Christ. He noted that Christmas provides an opportunity for individuals to contemplate humility, self‑lessness and peaceful coexistence.

The cleric prayed that the joy of the season would fill the hearts and homes of Nigerians, and he asked for divine protection, good health and abundant blessings for families and communities. He expressed hope that the light of Christ would bring peace, unity and progress to Nigeria amid the challenges facing the nation and the world.
