Blessing CEO Deletes Cancer-Related Instagram Posts Amid Controversy

Self-styled relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has removed all Instagram posts referencing her alleged stage 4 cancer diagnosis. The move comes two weeks after she deactivated her account amid mounting controversy over her health claims.

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) had previously called for her arrest, accusing her of falsifying a cancer patient’s medical report to support her assertions. Okoro had earlier solicited public donations for treatment, claiming to be suffering from an advanced form of the disease.

Her partner, celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD, disabled his social media accounts around the same period. Okoro quietly reactivated her Instagram account on Tuesday to delete the contentious posts, though she has not publicly addressed the controversy or her current health status.

The incident has sparked debate about the ethics of fundraising based on unverified medical claims and the responsibilities of public figures in managing sensitive personal information.
