Enugu State Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has approved the appointment of 23 aides, comprising nine Special Advisers and 14 Senior Special Assistants, with immediate effect.
Secretary to the State Government Chidiebere Onyia announced the appointments in a statement on Wednesday. The Special Advisers are Chukwudi Ezinwa, Labour Union and Association Matters; Sunday Nnamani, known as Orlando, Special Duties; Williams Chukwu, Agriculture; Afam Agana, Infrastructure Compliance; and Humphrey Onyima, Investment Strategy and Public Relations.
The remaining Special Advisers are Tony Ugwu, Rural Development; Ernest Nweze, Party Coordination and Mobilisation; Emeka Onunze, Monitoring and Evaluation; and Robinson Odo, Labour and Productivity.
Among the Senior Special Assistants, Kenneth Asogwa, also known as Ebube Muonso, will handle Heritage and Community Relations; Tochukwu Ogbodo, Social Engagement; Lucky Chukwu, Public Affairs; Belonwu Nnaji, Cultural Orientation; Steve Odo, Tourism; Francis Ikewette Ede, Public Communication; Sunny Okafor, General Duties; and Chinedu Okwu Otaka, Social Orientation and Mobilisation.
The list continues with Otaba Cosmas Ikechukwu, Protection of Public Utilities; Pius Okeagu, Assets Management; Innocent Emeka Ugwu, Inter-Party Affairs; Eucharia Offor, Human Resource Management; Kenneth Oforma, Policy and Communication; and Kelvin Ede, Research and Strategy.
The appointments reflect a broad portfolio covering governance, community engagement, infrastructure, and political coordination across the state. Onyia said the new aides are expected to assume their roles immediately to support the administration’s policy objectives.
