Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has opened up on his relationship with colleague, Wizkid.
The DMW boss disclosed that the Starboy honcho always checks up on him every week via calls.
He revealed this in a recent interview with Beat 99.9FM, Lagos.
He also confirmed that he and Wizkid will be embarking on a joint tour next year.
Davido hinted at an upcoming collaboration between him and the Grammy award-winning singer.
He said, “I would be lying to you if I tell you that [the tour] is not in the talks. It’s looking like next year. I think me and Wiz are probably going to drop a record. Shout out to my brother. He literally calls me every week and checks on me. Shout out to Wiz”.
Recall that Wizkid endorsed Davido’s fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ which finally dropped on Thursday after the death of the singer’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke delayed the initial release.
“Inside!! Y’all go listen to timeless by my brother @Davido,” Wizkid tweeted on Friday.
