Tinubu doing nothing about agitations against his inauguration – Adamu Garba

A former presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Adamu Garba has said the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not doing anything about the opposition to his swearing-in as president.

Media Talk Africa reported that several groups are protesting the May 29th inauguration of Tinubu as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces with many calling for an interim government over what they described as a fraudulent presidential election.

In an interview with Prime Reporters TV, Garba said he was happy that Tinubu is keeping mum amidst the protest against his inauguration.

He said the best job Tinubu can do before his swearing-in is to do nothing.

He said, “Before May 29, I will advise he [Tinubu] does nothing. And I’m very happy he is doing nothing. Why because there is a president of the country. The only thing he shall do is when required.

“We have lawyers that are doing their jobs. The Supreme Court is doing its job. The media are doing their job. Let everybody do it but he, the best job he will do now is to do nothing until he takes over the power.”
