EPL: Martin Keown laments Arsenal’s repeated behaviour on away games

Arsenal legend Martin Keown is not comfortable with the way his former club has approached their away games recently.

Keown noted that there has been a repeated behaviour of Mikel Arteta’s side regarding how they let in goals against Liverpool at Anfield and West Ham United at the London Stadium.

He noted that it has been a tricky spell for the Gunners but added that they must forget all that and focus on their crucial clash against Man City on Wednesday.

The two top teams will go head-to-head at the Etihad in what many people feel would be the title decider.

Arsenal are five points above City, but the Citizens have two more games in hand.

“It’s been tricky for Arsenal. There’s been a repeat behaviour away from home, to go in front and then be pulled back,” Keown told talkSPORT.

“Obviously, the other night was a near disaster. You concede early on, is that the pressure?

“The number of points, successive wins, to going unbeaten from the last time they played City.

“This is their [Arsenal] hour of need where you’ve got to go and win the game.

“That’s gone now. Man City know if they win their two games in hand they can be champions.”
