Rivers United midfielder Chukwu set to return for Young Africans tie

Rivers United midfielder Morice Chukwu will be making a return to the team when they take on Young Africans of Tanzania in the second leg of their CAF Confederations Cup quater-final clash.

Chukwu was suspended for the first leg tie at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium last week following an accumulation of yellow cards.

His will return to give the team the much needed boost as they bid to upturn the 2-0 deficit against their Tanzania opponent.

The second leg clash is billed for the Benjamin Nkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

The energetic midfielder has impressed for Rivers United on the continent and in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

Rivers United will also hope Ghanaian midfielder Paul Acquah is passed fit for the game.
