I’m disappointed, something is missing – Blaise Matuidi gives verdict on PSG

Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Blaise Matuidi, has admitted that he is disappointed with the club’s performances this season.

PSG currently find themselves on top of the Ligue 1 table, with three points above Lens, who sit in second place.

The Parisians have not been at their dominant best domestically this season, and they suffered an embarrassing 3-1 home defeat to Lorient at Parc des Princes last weekend.

However, Matuidi has now stated that something was ‘missing’ in the PSG team and called for improvements going forward.

Matuidi said (via French media Telefoot): “We are disappointed.

“We have the impression that something is missing, that Paris can do much better in its approach, in its game, in the intensity.”
