We will approach Federation Cup with Kano Pillars as finals – Rangers, Maikaba

Rangers manager, Abdul Maikaba, has revealed that the team will approach their Federation Cup Round of 32 matches against Kano Pillars like a Cup final.

Rangers will take on Kano Pillars in the Round 32 tie of the Federation Cup at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Wednesday.

Maikaba said the encounter is going to be a tough battle but believes that his players will do the needful on the pitch to come out victorious.

He also stressed that his team’s current impressive form will come to play in this tie.

“It is going to be tough but I am optimistic that my players will do the needful on the pitch,” Maikaba stated.

“My optimism is drawn from the fact that we have been playing well lately.

“We are approaching the match like a cup final because there is no second chance in the Federation Cup.”

Rangers defeated Kano Pillars in the final of the Federation five years ago.
