The 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA, for the ‘Best Actor in a Comedy’ category has been awarded to famous Nigerian comedian and actor, Samuel Animashaun Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi.
Broda Shaggi’s exceptional skills in the movie “Inside Life” earned him the coveted award of ‘Best Actor in a Comedy Drama, Movie or TV Series’ at the AMVCA.
The comedian had taken to social media in April to announce his nomination for the award. He expressed his gratitude and excitement in a tweet saying, “Hello, how are you? I’ve been nominated again for AMVCA’s Best Actor in a Comedy. Two nominations in the category for my roles in SURVIVORS and INSIDE LIFE.”
This is not the first time Broda Shaggi has captured this award. He won it at the 2022 African Movie Awards and emerged victorious again in the same category in 2023. Osas Ighodaro, on the other hand, took the award for ‘Best Actress in a Drama, Movie, or TV Series’ at the AMVCA 2023.
