Tinubu Discusses Mutual Interests with Tony Blair Institute Founder

Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair visited Bola Tinubu, the President-elect of Nigeria, on Tuesday to discuss mutual interests between Nigeria and the Tony Blair Institute for Good Governance. Tinubu shared that the meeting held at Defence House, Abuja, involved talks about how Nigeria could benefit from the amazing work of the Institute. Meanwhile, the reports that President Joe Biden has named his delegation to attend the upcoming inauguration of Tinubu as Nigeria’s sixteenth President. The prestigious event, scheduled to hold on May 29th at Abuja’s Eagle Square, is expected to be graced by 65 world leaders, past presidents, prominent Nigerians, diplomats, and representatives of foreign governments and agencies. Before the swearing-in ceremony, Tinubu and Vice-President-elect, Kashim Shettima, will be invested with national honours – Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic and Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, respectively.
