Mystery surrounds cause of fire that gutted Governor Ganduje’s Kano residence

In a startling incident, the personal residence of the outgoing Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, located on Miyangu Street in Nassarawa GRA Kano, was razed by fire. The State Fire Service confirmed that the outbreak occurred on Monday night and that the fire was already under control when firefighters arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, many cows that Ganduje was rearing died in the inferno, and several multi-million-naira properties were destroyed.

A source indicated that the cause of the fire was not immediately known but started during metal welding in the home when work was ongoing to transform the place, so it would become a fitting residence for Kano State’s outgoing governor.

However, there have been a lot of speculations regarding the mystery surrounding the cause of the outbreak. Although the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar, declined to share his thoughts on the matter.

It is hoped that an investigation will be conducted to ascertain the true reason behind the fire, as many are curious about what could have led to it. The Governor’s supporters are thankful that he, his family, and staff were uninjured during the incident.
