Delta Governor-Elect Vows to Implement Transition Committee Report

The Governor-elect of Delta State, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has received the report of an 88-man Transition Committee he set up several weeks ago and promised to implement its recommendations. He commended the committee members for their efforts and said the report would assist his administration in determining the way forward for the state.

During a statement made after receiving the transition committee’s report, Oborevwori highlighted that all sectors were carried along during the committee’s assessment. He added that the report would be considered critical to his government’s activities, and he would apply its contents to enhance the living conditions of Deltans.

Prof. Emmanuel Nwanze, the Transition Committee’s Chairman, presented the report. He stated that committee members worked vigorously to deliver within the stipulated timeframe. Every aspect was carefully looked into, he added.

The report’s recommendations, which will be implemented by the governor-elect, will be used as a working document for the new administration. Oborevwori has promised to listen more to Deltans and do more for them, and his administration will focus on delivering the best for all citizens of Delta State.
