A day before the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of Nigeria, Senator-elect Nwebonyi Onyeka Peter representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District has expressed confidence that Tinubu and his Vice President-elect, Kasim Shettima, will deliver on their promises to the Nigerian people.
In his message to the incoming President and Vice President, Peter lauded the trust Nigerians have placed in them during the February 25th presidential election. He urged Tinubu to improve security, the economy, welfare and happiness of Nigerians, and fulfill his obligations to the people.
“I give thanks to Almighty God for making this a reality. I thank Nigerians who massively voted for our great Party, the All Progressives Party in the just concluded general election, believing in the capacity and experience of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, Peter said.
He expressed optimism that Tinubu, with his outstanding attributes, will reach out to disaffected sections of our society and meet the expectations of Nigerians.
Tinubu’s inauguration as the next President of Nigeria will take place on Monday. Nigerians look forward to seeing how the incoming administration will work towards achieving the country’s developmental goals.
