Zamfara Governor Collaborates with FG and Neighboring States to Tackle Insecurity

The newly sworn-in Governor of Zamfara State, Dr. Dauda Lawan-Dare, has expressed his commitment to tackling the issue of insecurity in the state. During his inaugural speech on Monday, the Governor stated that his administration would redesign the state’s security architecture in collaboration with the Federal Government and neighboring states.

According to the Governor, the security situation in the state has been a source of concern for all and sundry, and it was essential to take immediate action to resolve the issue. Governor Lawan-Dare promised to work with the governments of Sokoto, Katsina, Kebbi, Kaduna, and Niger states to galvanize ideas for a lasting solution to the menace of banditry, kidnapping, and cattle rustling that had adversely affected the state’s socioeconomic development.

The Governor reiterated his support for the security agencies in the state, promising to provide them with the necessary equipment to enhance their operations in combating crime. He stressed that all hands must be on deck to address insecurity and create a conducive environment for agricultural, industrial, and educational development in the state.

In conclusion, the people of Zamfara eagerly anticipate the implementation of the Governor’s agenda on security, and how it will transform the state and enhance its socioeconomic development.
