Tinubu’s Inauguration Marked as a New Chapter for Nigeria, Says CAN President

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has issued a congratulatory message to President Bola Tinubu on his inauguration, calling it a momentous occasion. In the statement titled “Tinubu’s inauguration: A new chapter for Nigeria,” the organisation acknowledges the plethora of challenges facing the country and commends Tinubu for taking on the “responsibilities of leading our great nation.”

Archbishop Daniel Okoh, the President of CAN, stated that Nigeria is facing several challenges that require strong and decisive leadership. He urged President Tinubu to prioritize these issues and work tirelessly towards finding lasting solutions that would enhance the lives of Nigerians.

In the statement, Okoh also implored Nigerians to unite and come together as a potent force, adding that Tinubu must engage the active participation of all Nigerians regardless of their political, ethnic, and religious leanings.

While this was the organization’s first official congratulatory message to Tinubu since he emerged victorious in the February 25 presidential election, Okoh’s statement simultaneously demonstrates the numerous challenges Nigeria faces while praising Tinubu for his leadership.
