Oyo appoints Omolewa as Park Management System chairman

The Oyo State government has appointed Mr. Adedeji Emmanuel Omolewa as the Chairman of the Park Management System (PMS) in the state. This move by the government is aimed at overhauling the transport sector, ensuring ease of movement, and creating an enabling environment for transport operators to carry out their businesses.

The appointment, which was approved by Governor Seyi Makinde, was made public through a statement issued by Mr. Taiwo Adisa, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor. According to the statement, the appointment of Mr. Omolewa is with immediate effect.

Speaking on the appointment, Governor Makinde said that the new PMS chairman is expected to bring his experience and expertise to bear in ensuring seamless traffic flow in major cities across the state. He further added that the government is set to work with Omolewa and his team to revamp the transportation sector in the state.

Prior to his appointment, Omolewa had served as the Chief Security Officer of the PMS. He is an experienced security expert and a member of many professional bodies in Nigeria. He has also worked with various security agencies in the country, including the Nigeria Police Force, the State Security Service, and the Nigerian Army.

Commenting on his appointment, Omolewa expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde and promised to execute his duties with dedication and commitment. He also pledged to ensure that the state’s transportation sector is transformed to meet the needs of the people.

With this new development, transport operators in Oyo State can expect to see positive changes in the state’s transportation sector. The appointment of Omolewa is expected to bring about improved security, seamless traffic flow across the state, and a better environment for transport operators to conduct their businesses.
