The duo of Nigerian singers, Divine Ikubor, aka Rema, and David Adeleke, aka Davido, have debuted songs on Spotify’s 2023 ‘Songs of Summer’ predictions.

Rema’s hit tune with American celebrity, Selena Gomez ‘Calm Down’ and ‘Unavailable’ from Davido’s newest album ‘Timeless’ had been the one African songs predicted by Spotify to explode charts this summer time.

“To help visualize what’s hot worldwide, we’ve created a map that highlights the most popular tunes in more than 100 countries across the Northern Hemisphere,” Spotify stated concerning the predictions in a press release on the streaming platform’s web site on Wednesday.

Some of the songs predicted for the summer time embody, ‘Cruel Summer’ by Taylor Swift, ‘Favourite Song’ by Toosii, ‘Calm Down’ by Rema and Selena Gomez, ‘All My Life’ by Lil Durk ft. J. Cole, ‘Unavailable’ by Davido ft. Musa Keys, and ‘Where She Goes’ by Bad Bunny, amongst others.

Meanwhile, Davido has expressed his pleasure concerning the prediction as he retweeted it with a stunning smile emoji.
