PSG Emerges as Front Runners for Kim Min-jae, Dealing Manchester United a Transfer Setback

Reports suggest that Paris Saint-Germain is attempting to thwart Manchester United’s pursuit of Napoli defender, Kim Min-jae.

For some time now, Manchester United has shown interest in the South Korean centre-back, who has been one of Europe’s top-performing defenders this season. He is part of the Napoli team that recently won the Serie A title and was named the league’s best defender. He was also included in the Team of the Season.

Apparently, Man United Manager, Erik ten Hag, is in search of a left-sided centre-back to fill in for Harry Maguire. The Club was alleged to be willing to activate the 26-year-old Kim Min-jae’s £50million release clause.

Amid these rumours, PSG has emerged as the front-runners to sign Min-jae, with The Telegraph claiming that they are now seriously competing for the player’s signature.

As it stands, no official bids have been made by either Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain for the talented defender.
