Niger Governor, Bago, Assures Citizens of Positive Results from Meeting with Service Chiefs

On the occasion of the 2023 Democracy Day, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, the Governor of Niger State, reassured residents that the recent meeting he had with service chiefs in the state will yield positive results.

Bago emphasized that the welfare of citizens is of utmost importance in building a democratic system and that it is time for leaders at all levels to seek practical solutions to governance challenges. He noted that the usual rhetoric needed to give way to pragmatic solutions, in order to preserve the country’s democracy.

While congratulating Nigerians on Democracy Day, Bago expressed his condolences to those who have been affected by the persistent banditry attacks in various parts of the state. He stressed that his administration is committed to securing the state and that the impact of his meeting with service chiefs will be evident soon.

The Governor extended his prayers to the families of those who lost their lives in attacks and called for the rapid recovery of the wounded and the safe return of all abductees.
