Bendel Insurance Manager Criticises Poor Officiating in NPL Super Six Playoffs

In the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs, Bendel Insurance manager Monday Odigie has voiced out his criticism of the standard of officiating in the league. The Benin Arsenals suffered their second defeat in their final match against Remo Stars, with a lone goal from Akanni Qudus securing a 1-0 win over Bendel Insurance.

Speaking in a post-match interview with Media Talk Africa, Odigie expressed his discontent with the officiating and described it as “questionable,” adding that his team has been singled out mostly for poor officiating. He also urged the referees to improve and avoid any form of bias in officiating.

Bendel Insurance will now be looking to secure a continental ticket if they can triumph in the Federation Cup. Nonetheless, the team’s recent performances show a promising outlook, and it is hoped that they will continue to strive for success amidst doubtful officiating.
