Tinubu Holds Crucial Meeting with Asari Dokubo

In a significant development, President Bola Tinubu is currently engaged in a high-level discussion with renowned former agitator from the oil-rich Niger Delta region, Alhaji Asari Dokubo, at the State House. According to a report by Channels Television, Dokubo’s presence implies that he is expected to contribute to the discussions surrounding the President’s commitment to combatting crude oil theft in the nation. This is in line with President Tinubu’s strong determination to tackle the issue head-on and establish effective solutions.

This important gathering follows Tinubu’s previous meetings with other key figures hailing from the Niger Delta region. Notable individuals he has engaged with include Chief Timi Alaibe, former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), as well as Dr Dakuku Peterside, former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
