In a major summer transfer development, Bayern Munich has made an official bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker Harry Kane.
According to reliable sources at The Athletic, the German club has tabled a bid of £60.2 million, alongside additional performance-based add-ons, in an effort to secure the services of the prolific forward.
Kane, who has been an integral part of the Tottenham squad, remains with just one year left on his current contract.
The 27-year-old England captain has been at the center of intense transfer speculation throughout this summer’s transfer window, with several top clubs expressing their interest in acquiring his services.
Despite Bayern Munich’s proposal, two Premier League rivals, Manchester United and Chelsea, have also been closely monitoring Kane’s situation and might enter the fray with their own bids.
