Usman Abdallah: Embracing the Challenge with Katsina United

Katsina United manager Usman Abdallah has recently opened up on his decision to join the Nigeria National League (NNL), citing his yearning for a new challenge as the driving force behind his move.

Speaking to the media, Abdallah revealed that he had received numerous offers before making the switch to Katsina United. However, after previously coaching three teams in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), he was drawn to the NNL due to the prospect of embarking on an entirely different experience.

“I preferred coaching in the NNL because it offers something completely new for me,” Abdallah confessed. “It’s a tougher league, but I believe it’s a challenge worth embracing.”

Abdallah, now at the helm of Katsina United, is set to lead his team in the upcoming battle to secure a promotion ticket to the NPFL next season. The NNL promotion playoffs are scheduled to commence next month, and the pressure will undoubtedly be intense.
